Privacy Policy

1. Information you enter in the app

FINANZA lets you record transactions, accounts, budgets, categories, notes, and optional receipt photos. All of this is stored only in the app's private storage on your device.

• It is not transmitted to the developer or to any developer-operated server.
• There is no sign-up, login, or cloud account.
• FINANZA never asks for, or connects to, your bank or card credentials.

Backups. When you choose "Backup Data," the app writes your data to a file that you control and can store or share wherever you like. When you choose "Restore," the app reads a backup file you select. Backup files are not encrypted, so treat them like any other sensitive document.

Receipt photos you attach are copied into the app's private storage on your device. FINANZA uses the system photo picker and does not access your photo library beyond the image you select.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

FINANZA is free and shows ads served by Google AdMob, including banner ads, full-screen interstitial ads, and optional rewarded ads. To deliver and measure ads, Google may collect information such as:

• your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID),
• IP address and the approximate location it implies,
• device and app information (model, OS version, app version, language),
• ad interaction data (which ads were shown, viewed, or tapped).

When you first open the app you are shown an ads consent prompt. You can also control ad personalization and reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your device's Settings → Google → Ads. How Google uses this data is described in Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

3. Analytics and app configuration (Google Firebase)

FINANZA includes Google Firebase, which is used for two things:

• Firebase Analytics automatically collects aggregated usage information such as app opens, screens viewed, session length, device model, OS version, country or region, and a randomly generated app-instance identifier. This helps us understand how the app is used and improve it. It does not include the amounts, accounts, categories, or notes you enter.
• Firebase Remote Config fetches app configuration (for example, the minimum supported app version) and sends the same kind of basic device and app-version information in the process.

4. Permissions the app uses

• Internet / network state — required for ads, analytics, and remote configuration.
• Advertising ID — used by AdMob as described above.
• Notifications — for budget alerts and reminders you turn on. These are generated on your device.
• Storage (older Android versions) — to write and read backup files you choose.

FINANZA does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, precise location, SMS, or call logs.

5. App lock and biometrics

If you turn on App Lock, unlocking is handled by Android's own PIN and biometric system APIs. FINANZA never receives, stores, or transmits your fingerprint or face data.

6. How information is shared

• Your financial entries are not shared with anyone.
• Device and usage information is shared with Google only as needed to provide AdMob and Firebase, acting as service providers.
• We do not sell personal information.

7. Data retention and deletion

Data you enter stays on your device until you delete it in the app or uninstall FINANZA. Uninstalling removes the app's private storage, including receipt photos, but not backup files you exported elsewhere. Information collected by Google is retained according to Google's policies linked above.

8. Children

FINANZA is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

9. Security

Your data is kept in the app's private storage, which other apps cannot read, and you can add an extra layer with App Lock. No method of storage is completely secure; please keep exported backup files in a safe place.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
